Oatlands Spring Festival 'Walk Through the Ages' has become an annual event, 2009 will be it's 9th year.
We invite you to dress in period costume along with others from 1820's to 1970's, please feel free to dress in your own costume or contact us for help.
Includes the famous Monster Market, grand parade including Launceston RSL Pipes and Drums,Tas Bash and car clubs, vintage vehicles.
Many activities on the day for children at the Mill Complex (view the wooden animal carvings at the children's playground), including the animal display,alpaca and donkeys Smiffs puppets, face painting, jumping castle and children's rides.
Rotary BBQ, musical entertainment, bands, Morris Dancers, draught horse and cart rides, Historical displays by our local people such as adzing by Alec Dean, blade shearing by Don Fish and working bullock display with Brian Fish.
We wish to thank everyone for their support for our previous festivals. 2008 was a huge success with something to do for all the family and look forward to another successful event in 2009.
